Steve McDonald is a native Oregonian, and U.S. Navy Veteran, with over 20 years of building trades experience.
Deeply fascinated with woodwork and construction methods early in his life, Steve went on to persue that passion following his time in the U.S. Military. Bend, Oregon was booming in the early 90’s when Steve began working in the construction field. Building homes, and performing general carpentry and construction on both residential and commercial buildings was fun and rewarding. Even so, an opportunity many years later led Steve into management with the largest home improvement chain in the world. Steve spent the last sixteen years working for that company, with nearly ten years as a General Store Manager. This experience allowed Steve to amass a wealth of experience to add to his knowledge in construction fields, while gaining the opportunity to build relationships daily with homeowners and contractors alike.
Steve was formally trained by Inspection Certification Associates, and is a member of interNACHI, a respected home inspector organization.
